Short little post. After a lazy morning I got motivated to hop on the bus and head to Lago Coatepeque for a late lunch. Less than an hour on the bus from Santa Ana, it´s another caldera lake, like Laguna de Apoyo was.
The rim just off the main road is lined with little bar restaurants. I had chicken and lemonade, and enjoyed the view.
The breeze cut the heat nicely, I had to put on my long sleeve actually. I watched the jet skis play down on the lake.
At 4:00, I caught the last bus back to town.
And thus ended an afternoon well spent.
