The Jade Seahorse, and Treetanic Bar. They get their own blog post. You'll see why.
Already from the signs you know it's going to be awesome, right?
I first visited at night. There was (basically) an island-wide party one night when all the new divemasters graduated. The tester comes once a month from the States to procter the exams, so it is a big party night for everyone.
Even in the dark, I was amazed. And this doesn't even show the scale of the place, it just kept going back and back and back, with everything covered in mosaic.
Needless to say, I went back during the day.

Looking down into the gardens |

There's a cave, of course |
A bridge in the back |
Walls made of recycled bottles |
Nothing was left without decoration |
New part being worked on, computer motherboards as the medium |
Everything went around and over and under and back up the other side of things. Nothing had only one entrance. |
The bathrooms didn't escape either. The insides were just as eclectic |

I was told it took 27 years to decorate the place, and the owner is still going. If you're ever on Utila, you gotta go see it here. Even if you don't eat there, just be a sightseer in the gardens. Totally worth it.
